Mukilteo Dusk.
According to local history, Mukilteo is an Indian term for "Good Place to Camp." It's located next door to the Whidbey Island ferry (visible in several of these shots). The lighthouse is an easy 22 mile drive from downtown Seattle.

Ferry and the Lighthouse.
The Whidbey Island Ferry appears in the next few shots. The multi-lane line of cars to board this ferry can get pretty long, so it's best avoid commute hours when visiting the lighthouse.
