Yaquina (pronounced "yah-KWINN-ah") Head is the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon coast. Its fixed first-order Fresnel lens operates twenty-four hours a day, and can be seen more than 20 miles at sea.

This photo was taken during the 130th anniversary celebration (August 20, 2003). Special thanks to Jane Maines and Yaquina Lights for their hospitality and invaluable assistance.

Agate Beach Campfire.
