Lighting at Pigeon Point, 2004.
Once a year each November, the Coast Guard illuminates the 100+ year-old First Order Fresnel Lens. This photo was taken at the 2004 lighting. The pencil-thin beams of light are created by the bullseyes in the Fresnel lens. (It's pretty amazing to see these wheel around the sky!)
